The International Linguistic Society is delighted to introduce the 17th International Conference on Linguistic Research and Applications – Linguistics 2026, taking place 22–24 April 2026 in Athens, Greece (with a hybrid format for our globe-trotting scholars and home-office heroes).
This conference continues our commitment to pushing the boundaries of linguistic research while embracing innovative and applied perspectives. Whether you’re dissecting syntactic trees or knee-deep in neurolinguistic data, this event is for you.
What’s on the Agenda?
Over three days, Linguistics 2026 will bring together leading academics, emerging researchers, and curious minds from across the globe for:
– Keynote lectures by internationally recognised scholars (speaker announcements coming soon)
– Themed sessions covering core and applied areas of linguistics
– Lively debates across phonetics, semantics, pragmatics, computational linguistics, and more
– A solid mix of in-person and online participation — because we know not everyone fancies an airport queue in April
