We are thrilled to announce the upcoming International Conference of Morphology Research and Applications – Morphology 2026 Online, taking place from 23–25 September 2026.
Hosted by the International Linguistic Society, this virtual event will explore the powerful role morphology plays in shaping language, meaning, and communication across the globe. Whether you’re a seasoned linguist or a rising voice in the field, this is your opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, present your work, and contribute to the growing conversation around morphology and its real-world impact.
Why Morphology?
Morphology—the study of word structure and formation—is one of the cornerstones of linguistic analysis. It reveals how languages encode meaning, how words evolve, and how lexical systems adapt across cultural, social, and technological contexts. Every language has its own unique morphological fingerprint, and by understanding it, we gain deep insights into communication, cognition, and even the way we teach and interact with technology.
From educational applications to clinical and computational tools, morphology continues to shape the way we approach language in both theory and practice.
