As we prepare for Phonetics 2025 Hong Kong, we would like to share a number of important updates regarding the conference schedule, programme release dates, and virtual participation.
📅 Key Dates to Note:
- 01 July 2025 – Publication of the Book of Abstracts
- 01 August 2025 – Release of the Preliminary Programme and schedule
- 15 August 2025 – Publication of the Final Programme
- 17–19 September 2025 – Conference Dates
Please ensure these dates are noted in your calendar.
🗓 Save the Date: 1st August 2025
The Preliminary Programme will be published on 1st August 2025. This will include:
- Timetable of planned sessions
- Speaker and topic information
- Online joining links for virtual participation
Save the date: 1st August – If you have registered for the conference to participate and present your abstract, or for online free attendance via the registration form, you will also receive an email notification once this information is live.
🌐 Online Participation via Google Meet
Virtual attendance will be available to those who have either:
- Registered to present and participate, or
- Signed up for online free attendance via the official registration form
Joining links will be provided via email on 1st August, along with the Preliminary Programme.
Technical Guidance:
- Join via web browser (Google Chrome recommended) or the Google Meet app
- A Google account is not required
- Please check your microphone and camera in advance
- Use headphones for better audio quality
- A stable internet connection is essential
Detailed joining instructions will be included with the schedule and sent to eligible participants by email.
