Emma Marsden is Professor of Foreign Language Education at the University of York and Director of the Centre for the Acceleration of Social Technology and Language Learning (CASTL). Her groundbreaking work in second language acquisition, language pedagogy, and open science has shaped language education across Europe and beyond.
