Length
Abstracts must not exceed 500 words, including the title. References should be avoided.

Title of Paper
The title should be concise and general. Avoid long titles and subtitles as they are cumbersome to read and remember (e.g., Acoustic Structure of Italian Vowels, Noun Morphology in Spanish, The Syntax of English Prepositions).

Author Names

  • A maximum of four authors is recommended.
  • Use one first name and one last name per author.
  • For multiple first or last names, use hyphens (e.g., Anna-Maria Gonzalez-Smith).

Abstract Content
Abstracts should be clear and structured, ideally covering the following aspects:

  • Objectives:
Clearly outline the main aims of the research and explicitly state the research questions or hypotheses.
  • Methodology:
Describe the theoretical framework or experimental methods, including materials, speakers, languages, or dialects relevant to the study. Avoid detailed statistical information unless essential.
  • Results:
Summarise the main findings, ensuring they align with the research objectives and provide a basis for any arguments presented.
  • Discussion:
Highlight the major conclusions and explain the significance of the study within its linguistic context.

General Guidelines

  • Use simple, clear language.
  • Ensure terminology is well-defined.
  • Focus on concise objectives and methodologies.
