Thank you for your interest in joining the International Linguistic Society (ILS) Reviewer Committee.

The International Linguistic Society is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent and high-quality peer review process for conferences, journals and other scholarly publications.

Whether you have been personally invited or are applying independently, all reviewer applications are assessed using the same criteria to ensure consistency, fairness and academic integrity.

Applications are reviewed by the Editorial Team, who will assess your academic background, professional experience and subject expertise before making a decision.

This application is Step 1 of the reviewer appointment process. Submission of an application does not automatically result in appointment to the Reviewer Committee.

If your application is successful, we will contact you directly to complete Step 2: Reviewer Profile Setup. At this stage, you will be asked to confirm the information to be included in your reviewer profile and provide a suitable professional photograph if you have consented to having a public profile.

Please note that membership of the ILS Reviewer Committee is voluntary. Reviewer positions are unpaid and do not constitute employment or paid consultancy with the International Linguistic Society.
