Linguistics 2025 Paris brought together scholars and researchers from around the world for a lively exchange of ideas on language, communication and technology. Hosted at the Maison de la recherche, INALCO, the conference featured presentations across core, interdisciplinary and applied linguistics — from phonetics and phonology to psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, computational approaches, language education and pathology. The event fostered international collaboration, fresh perspectives and many new connections in the heart of Paris.
Two distinguished keynote lectures headlined the event:
- Ad Neeleman – Noun phrase order: grammar, parser and typological frequency
- Greville G. Corbett – Unpacking nominal classification: a new perspective on gender and classifiers
