With growing interest in the conference, the move to Sorbonne Université provides us with a larger venue and more space to welcome our international community of researchers, academics and students to Paris.
Linguistics 2026 Paris will take place from 28–30 October 2026 as a hybrid conference, with participation available both in person at Sorbonne Université and online.

Monica Melby-Lervåg – University of Oslo
The conference brings together researchers from around the world for the presentation and discussion of contemporary research across the spectrum of linguistics, including core linguistics, interdisciplinary and applied approaches, language technology, and emerging applications of AI in linguistic research.
Accepted authors will also have the opportunity to submit an expanded 4-page conference paper for publication in the Linguistic Proceedings Series.
Already Registered?
All existing registrations remain valid and no action is required following the venue change.
Participants who have already received an invitation or visa support letter containing the previous venue details can contact us if they require an updated copy confirming the Sorbonne Université venue.

We are currently preparing the conference programme, with the following key dates:

- Final programme: 21 October 2026
- Conference: 28–30 October 2026
- Participation: Hybrid, Paris and online
