The International Linguistic Society is pleased to announce its 2027 programme of international conferences, with five hybrid conferences taking place across Europe and Asia throughout the year.
The 2027 programme will bring together researchers, academics and professionals working across a broad range of areas in linguistic research and applications. Each conference will feature dedicated thematic sessions alongside opportunities for international research exchange and discussion.
All five conferences will be held in hybrid format, enabling participation both onsite and online.

Our summer conference returns to Hong Kong, with thematic sessions focusing on:

International Conference on Linguistic Research and Applications
22–24 September 2027 | Berlin, Germany & Online
The autumn conference will take place in Berlin, with thematic sessions covering:
- Syntax
- Language typology
- Translation technologies
