The International Linguistic Society is pleased to announce that the abstract submission deadline for Language Education 2026 Online: International Thematic Conference on Language Education Research and Applications has been extended to 15 June 2026.
The conference will take place online from 24-26 June 2026 and aims to bring together researchers, educators, research groups, and emerging scholars working across the broad field of language education and its applications.
Language Education 2026 provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of innovative research, practical applications, and emerging developments in language education. The conference encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration between scholars from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.

We welcome submissions in a wide range of areas, including:
- Pronunciation, orthography, vocabulary, grammar, written language, and spoken language
- Phonetics and pronunciation, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, text, discourse, and translation
- Language acquisition, psycholinguistics, language learning, language teaching, and curriculum development
- Language education methodologies, technologies, and language disorders
- Artificial intelligence and language education, including text-to-speech systems, automatic translation, lexicography, orthographic processing, and related applications
Proceedings Publication
Accepted abstracts will be invited to submit expanded 4-page conference papers for publication in the Linguistic Proceedings Series.
