Weβre delighted to announce that the International Conference of Linguistic Research and Applications β Linguistics 2026 Athens will take place from 23rdβ25th April 2026 in Athens, Greece, organised by The International Linguistic Society (Continuing the ExLing legacy under a new name).
Our last event in Athens, ExLing 2023, held under our previous name The ExLing Society, was a great success β bringing together linguists, researchers, and scholars from around the world to share innovative work, collaborate, and celebrate the diversity of linguistic research.
π₯ Take a look back at ExLing 2023 in Athens:
To give you a flavour of what we achieved, weβve included the full proceedings from ExLing 2023 below β a great resource for anyone interested in the research and discussions shared during the conference.
Building on that momentum, Linguistics 2026 Athens will continue the ExLing legacy while expanding its focus to embrace broader areas of linguistic research and application. The conference aims to foster dialogue among established researchers, research groups, and emerging scholars in an integrated, international setting.
