The International Linguistic Society is pleased to announce that the official media page for Phonetics 2026 Hong Kong is now available online.
Organised in collaboration with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University – College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE), the conference brought together researchers, educators, and students from around the world to discuss current developments in phonetics, speech science, pronunciation, language development, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in language education.
Over two days of presentations and discussion, participants explored a wide range of topics spanning theoretical phonetics, speech perception, language acquisition, multilingual communication, and emerging educational technologies.
